Nikon Plan Flour 20x ELWD DIC Objective Lens. Cosmetic defects (scratch and black ink), as shown in photos, do not affect use. History: This was lightly used in a prototype device built around an automated fluroescence microscopes. It has been handled exclusively by professional engineers and scientists.

There is a noticeable scratch on the barrel (shown in photos) that is the result of mounting the lens within the mechanically automated prototype. There is also some black ink on the metal beside the lens itself; this was used to reduce reflections. Neither type of cosmetic defect affects the optics, which remain in excellent condition.
