This is a Swift binocular microscope. It is a very rugged unit with all metal frame construction. It has 4 turret mounted objective lenses (4X, 10X, 40X and 100X) with two 10X wide field eyepieces.

This provides a magnification range from 40X to 1000X. The microscope head is removable and can be rotated 360 degrees. The eyepieces can be adjusted for eye spacing. The microscope has a corded 120VAC incandecent light source with an adjustable condensing lens in the light path. The light intensity can be adjusted using a rotating potentiometer on the left side of the base.

Between the light source and the stage is an aperture to also allow the light level on the sample to be adjusted. There is a swing in/out filter holder that can be added to the light path. All four images are of a dried tomato skin at 40X thru 1000X.

This is a high quality microscope and would be a great addition to any lab or classroom.
