The RXL4B binocular compound microscope is designed for teaching demonstrations, clinical examinations and laboratory applications. It is an ideal microscope for teachers and students, including those in medical school or with a major in biology. It has a number of advancements in functionality compared to other microscopes in its class, such as enhanced LED lighting, replaceable condenser, and Siedentopf head adjustments. Use the microscope for studying fixed or live cells, bacteria, plants and soil, or water samples. To customize the microscope to your viewing comfort, the eyepiece spacing can be easily adjusted using a precision Siedentopf mechanism. A diopter is available on the left ocular tube to compensate for asymmetry, and the ocular tubes are angled at 30° to comfortably accommodate a seated position without neck strain. Various eyepieces can be used to increase the overall optical magnification.

Four high-quality objective lenses are provided, mounted to a rotating turret for instant access to the large range of magnifications. Additional 25X eyepieces extend the maximum magnification to 2500X, and provide 6 distinct levels of magnification. The high-quality lenses are achromatically corrected to improve resolution and color accuracy. The 2-layer mechanical stage provides smooth and precise movement for examination of specimen slides.

The stage's low-position controls are conveniently placed near the coaxial focus knobs for a streamlined workflow. Examining specimen slides is intuitive and precise for users at any skill level. The LED sub-stage lighting provides cool, energy-efficient illumination. The light-source is daylight balanced to produce natural colors for imaging. With our specially developed fly-eye lens, the light is evenly distributed at maximum brightness to improve contrast and resolution All Obectives are PLAN providing excellent Flatness & Contrast with WF10x eyepiece providing 18mm Field of view.

Compound microscope provides high magnification for biological use and educational applications. Sliding binocular head with pairs of 10x widefield and 25x widefield eyepieces with 53 to 77mm inter-pupillary adjustment, fixed 30-degree vertical inclination to reduce eye and neck strain, and 360-degree rotation capability to provide a more comprehensive view and enable sharing.

Inward-facing nosepiece with PLAN 4x, 10x, 40xS (spring), and 100xS (spring, oil) DIN achromatic objectives that provide color correction of magnified images. PLAN for full flatness and Research grade clarity. Brightfield, LED illumination, and 1.25 NA Abbe condenser with iris diaphragm for clear examination and light control & Battery Backup for field use.

Double-layer mechanical stage, with 1.0mm stage divisions, locks slide into place and provides precise slide manipulation along the X- and Y-axis to allow coordinates to be recorded, enabling the viewer to return to a specific location on the slide. Six widefield magnification settings: 40X, 100X, 250X, 400X, 1000X & 2500X. High quality Abbe condenser with iris diaphragm & filter.
