This Nikon ELWD S Plan Fluor 40×/0.60 NA Ph2 phase contrast objective delivers high-resolution, flat-field imaging with enhanced fluorescence transmission. The Ph2 phase ring provides strong phase contrast when paired with a compatible Ph2 condenser annulus, making it ideal for imaging unstained or live-cell specimens. The extra-long working distance (ELWD) and ADM 0-2 mm cover glass correction support imaging through thicker vessels, cultureware, and variable coverslip thicknesses while maintaining excellent contrast and resolution.
Phase contrast microscopy (live cells, unstained samples). Cell culture and live-cell imaging. Removed from a working Nikon microscope system. Optics are clean with no visible scratches, haze, or fungus.
